Tuition assistance

Eligible employees may receive up to $5250 per calendar year in tuition assistance.

  • Tuition assistance may begin on the 180th day of employment in a full or part-time position (32 – 80 hours per pay period). The start date of classes must be after the 180th day of eligible employment.
  • Schools must be recognized as accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, (formerly the North Central Accreditation body), or one of its regional affiliates.  Nursing degree programs are required to have ACEN or CCNE accreditation, in addition to regional accreditation and recognized by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
  • Employee must be in good standing and not on corrective action throughout the process of reimbursement including final payment.
  • Programs must be related to a career at HonorHealth.
  • Full or partial repayment of HonorHealth-paid tuition is required if employee terminates employment or transfers to an ineligible employment status within two years of receiving tuition funds.
